Retainer Engagement Terms and Conditions:
Minimum Engagement Period
Retainer partnerships require a minimum six‑month engagement period to ensure institutions have sufficient time to implement operational and compliance improvements.
Monthly Hour Allocation
Each retainer tier includes a defined number of consulting hours per month. Unused hours do not roll over to future months. Additional consulting time requested beyond the monthly allocation may be billed at the firm's standard consulting rate.
Scope of Services
Retainers provide advisory access and limited operational guidance. Large-scale services such as full financial aid file audits, mock program reviews, policy manual development, department restructuring initiatives, staff training programs, or large-scale compliance reviews may be scoped as separate consulting engagements.
Institutional Size Considerations
Standard retainer structures are designed primarily for institutions with fewer than approximately 2,500 enrolled students. Larger institutions or multi-campus systems may require a customized consulting agreement.
Scheduling and Availability
Retainer clients receive priority scheduling for advisory consultations. Response times may vary depending on scheduling availability.
Early Termination
Retainer agreements may be terminated with 30 days written notice. If termination occurs prior to completion of the minimum engagement period, the remaining balance of the minimum engagement term may be due at termination.
Project-Based Services
Additional consulting services outside the retainer scope will be quoted separately. Retainer clients receive priority scheduling and discounted project pricing where applicable.
